Guardian Lifecare opens 2 new stores in city

Mumbai, May 20 (UNI) US-based Guardian Lifecare today opened its two stores in the city, as a part of its Rs 25 crore expansion plan in Western India.

Speaking on the occasion, GNC India and Guardian Lifecare Chairman and MD Ashutosh Garg said, ''We already have a significant number of Indian buyers, buying products through GNC website and after our first store in New Delhi, the next destination had to be other metros like Mumbai.'' He informed the Company would invest over Rs 100 crore, out of which 25 crore will be invested for opening another 50 stores in Western India and 150 stores across the country.

''Presently we are growing at the rate of almost two new stores every week,'' he said.

The Company's products are available at implant GNC store within 17 Guardian stores and are distributed at another 50 Guardian Pharmacy stores.
