Associate Group to invest Rs 900 cr to set up 3 manufacturing units

New Delhi, May 20 (UNI) Star Panel Boards Ltd, a joint venture between the Associate Group and Kings Wood, today said it will invest Rs 900 crore to set up three manufacturing units for producing Medium Density Fiber (MDF) and Particle Boards.

The Company plans to have a manufacturing capacity of one million cubic meters per annum of Panel Products, by the year 2014, an official release stated.

MDF and Particle Boards manufactured by Star Panel Boards Ltd will be sold under the brand name 'Associate'.

The Company will also set up three satellite centers with warehousing facilities in the West, North, and South India for Pre-Lamination and other value addition to the products. This will ensure prompt deliveries and shorter lead times, the release added.
