Bangalore, May 19 (UNI) Three executives of the Infosys BPO, a business process outsourcing subsidiary of the Infosys Technologies, have been ranked as the superstars in the recently unveiled 'FAO Today Global Superstar Rankings.' Amitabh Chaudhary, MD and CEO, Infosys BPO, Ritesh Idnani, Vice-President and Global Sales Head, Infosys BPO, and Michel de Zeeuw, Vice-President, Infosys (formr SVP - Global finance, Philips) had been ranked as superstars along with the global leaders of the industry, a release said here today.
While Amitabh had been conferred the honour for his leadership and charge for the last year's ground-breaking deal with Philips Electronics, Michel de Zeeuw ensured that the integration of 1,400 employees was smooth and effective under last year's spectacular deal of USD 28 million.
Ritesh Idnani had been honoured for establishing the Infosys as the fastest-growing FAO provider in 2007, with groundbreaking and innovative approaches to deal structure, technology, and implementation.
Now in its fourth year, the 'FAO Superstars-2008' list features 27 buyers, 24 advisors and opinion leaders and 33 providers.
Amitabh said ''Infosys BPO had a robust F and A practice and the ability to deliver F and A services seamlessly from multiple global locations. This, coupled with process excellence and our transformational approach, reinforces our leadership position in the fast growing FAO segment.'' The Infosys BPO, with its more than 16,000 workforce, had six delivery centres in foreign countries and seven in India.
