Karnataka: IMFL worth Rs 80,000 seized
Davanagere, Karnataka, May 19: Police raided a farmhouse belonging to a Congress leader and Vice President of Davanagere Zilla Panchayat and seized 60 boxes of Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) worth Rs 80,000 at Bhyranahalli Village in Channagiri Taluk of the District.
Police said the liquor was allegedly stored for distribution to woo the voters. A case had been registered against ZP Vice President Manjappa in Channagiri Police Station.
