Shajapur, MP, May 18 (UNI) Uttar Pradesh Health Minister Anant Kumar Mishra today alleged that Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi was indulging in Dalit politics to gain ''cheap popularity''.
Mr Mishra told newspersons Mr Gandhi was visiting homes of Dalits, sharing food with them and even staying with them.
However, he was ignoring their problems and doing nothing concrete to alleviate it.
Pointing out that the Congress had formed governments at Centre and in Uttar Pradesh after independence, he said these governments did nothing for resolving the problems of Dalits and deprived.
On the other hand, he claimed, the BSP had implemented several schemes for fundamental rights of these sections and providing them facilities.
The BSP leader alleged that non-Congress-led state governments including the Uttar Pradesh Government were not receiving support from the Centre.
