India maintains good relations with Islamic countries: Jaipal Reddy
Hyderabad, May 18 (UNI) Union Minister for Urban Development S Jaipal Reddy today said India was maintaining good relations with the Islamic countries since decades.
Participating in a public meeting 'Zionist's Atrocities on Palestinians', organised by Indo-Arab League here, Mr Reddy said the country was supporting the struggle in Palestine and condemning the Israeli attacks on the country, though the US had mounted pressure on India.
Stating that India was also helping the Palestine during the crisis he said, this was because it wanted to strengthen its relations with the Islamic countries in the future.
CPI national General Secretary A B Bardhan alleged that Israel was taking pictures from the satellites, which were put in orbit by the ISRO recently, and it could pose threat to the internal security of the country and other Asian countries in future. He demanded that the Centre should take steps to stop Israel's attempts to create security problem in the Asian countries.
CPM national secretariate member and MP Saleem alleged that the US was using Israel as the War Processing Organisation (WPO) to create internal problems in the Islamic countries and it wanted to show its hegemony on these countries.
