Greenville, US, May 17 (UNI) Arjun Atwal fired a superb four-under 67 to climb up to the tied 13th spot at the end of the second round of the BMW Charity Po-Am on the Nationwide Tour Golf here.
The Kolkata born golfer shot five birdies and a bogey to take his two round total to seven-under 136.
The tournament is spread out over three courses in the Greenville -Spartanburg area- Thornblade Club, Carolina Country Club and Bright's Creek Club.
Playing at the Thornblade Club, Atwal started with birdies on the second and third but dropped a stroke on the fifth to go out at one-under.
However, coming back Atwal carded three birdies on the 12th, 15th and 16th to end the day at 67 Meanwhile American David Mathis hit seven-under 65 at the Bright's Club to emerge the leader.
