Hyderabad, May 16 (UNI) Taking a cue from the intelligence and forensic experts that the Jaipur blasts were seemingly 'similiar' to the Hyderabad twin blasts, Rajasthan police today sought to interrogate the accused, arrested in connection with the twin blasts and Mecca blasts, for the investigation of May 13 Jaipur serial blasts.
''We are in touch with the Jaipur police and sharing information.
The Rajasthan police want to interrogate the arrested accused who are in police custody. However, it is pre-mature to say when they will question the accused,'' city Police Commissioner B Prasad Rao said.
''A two-member police team has been sent to Jaipur to study the blasts. This would provide more inputs to unravel the mystery behind the serial blasts in different state capitals in the country since last year,'' he added.
Suspected bomb planter at Lumini park in one of the twin blasts and Harkat Ul-Jihadi Islami (HUJI) activist Raziuddin Naser, arrested at Hubli in January, and suspected SIMI activist Muthasim Billah would be interrogated by the Jaipur Special police after they complete the preliminary investigation into the blasts, police sources pointed out.
The sources said the Special Investigation Teams (SIT), constituted to probe the May 18 Mecca Masjid Blasts and August 25 twin blasts, would assist the Jaipur police in the investigation of the blasts by exchanging the information it had gathered and help them to interrogate the accused held in connection with the twin blasts recently.
