Integrated technology can be met through research, innovation
Mysore, May 16 (UNI) Central Food Technological Research Institute (CFTRI) Director, V Prakash today said integrated technology can be met only through valid research and innovation partnerships.
In his presidential address at the 'National Technology Day' celebrated at CFTRI here, Dr Prakash said the new developments in food processing were geared into the next generation of technology for health and wellness. ''India has done it in IT and Biotechnology to a large extent, and why not in Food Technology. A large amount of agricultural resources facing many restrictions for utilisation do not get converted into value added products,'' he added.
