Cognizance of 24 people in BPSC scam case
Patna May 16 (UNI) Special Vigilance judge of Patna S K Panwar today took cognizance of 24 people in Bihar Public Service Commission(BPSC) scam case.
The case is related to irregularities in the competitive examination conducted by the BPSC in 2003 for appointment of 184 deputy collectors in Bihar.
The state vigilance investigation bureau had submitted chargesheet against 104 people in the case against whom cognizance has already been taken by the court.
The then chairpersons of BPSC Ram Singhasan Singh and Raziya Tabassum were also among the chargesheeted accused in the case.
