Bhopal, May 15: The Madhya Pradesh government has ordered an inquiry into the fire that broke out in the Bhoj open university's office at Govindpura in the state capital yesterday.
The fire was contained in one hour though several documents were gutted, official sources said.
The state government decided to set up the inquiry committee to assess the damage and pinpoint the documents which were destroyed.
Taking a serious note of the incident, Higher Education Minister Anup Mishra ordered the senior officers to seal the records at the university. He had also directed the Registrar to lodge with the police a report about the incident.
