HC directs magistrate to write orders in legible writing
New Delhi, May 15 (UNI) Delhi High Court today directed a magistrate to write orders in a legible manner which are readable by others as well.
Justice V B Gupta directed Magistrate A K Chaturvedi to write his orders in a way which others can read and not merely write for the purpose of making records.
Justice Gupta said the purpose of court orders is to inform the litigants the outcome of the case and if the court orders are written in a manner which are not readable, the whole purpose is defeated.
He added that it is expected, that in future, the courts shall take care to write their orders which are legible to others as well and not merely for the purpose of records.
