Bihar to become seat of wisdom and knowledge soon: Nitish
Patna, May 15 (UNI) Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today vowed to turn the state into seat of wisdom and knowledge par excellence and announced that several premier institutes of Management, Law and other faculties would come up in the state soon.
After laying the foundation of Chanakya National Law University here, Mr Kumar said it would be developed as one of the best Law universities in the country.
He said a sum of Rs 72 crore had been earmarked for the Law university while a plot of 25 acre had been allotted for the same.
'' In order to maintain academic and administrative excellence of the university, responsibility has been given to judiciary to bloom it into a premier Law university of the country, '' he said.
Mr Kumar affirmed that since the university was named after Chanakya great scholar of ancient period, it had to be developed as premier institution, which could find place as one of the best universities across the globe.
'' Several institutes par excellence like National Institute of Fashion Technology, Chandragupta Institute of Management and Aryabhatt Professional university would be established in Mithapur locality of the state capital as land for the same had been allotted in the area, '' he stated.
