Annoucing the launch of the products, Amway India Corporate Communications manager Rajat Banerji and associate manager Jignesh Mehta told reporters today that Amway has come up with products that will compete with market leaders. Meanwhile, Mr Banerji informed that Amway, on its tenth anniversary, has extended support to children of Disha Charitable Trust in Goa. Amway Opportunity Foundation (AOF) will bear the education and medical costs of the 40-odd children of Disha for a period of three years.
Amway hopes to cross the Rs 1,000-crore turnover mark on the back of the Great Value Products, Mr Banerji said. Besides, Amway also plans to strenthen the nutrition and wellness category by adding more products and expanding its infrastructure.
Mr Banerji said Amway had closed the fiscal with a turnover of Rs 800 crore, registering a nine per cent growth over the previous fiscal.
The company has added 50 new offices to take the total number of Amway touch points to 120, Mr Banerji said.
