Similar explosives used in Hyd, Jaipur blasts: top officials
Hyderabad, May 14 (UNI) The explosives used in yesterday's Jaipur blasts and August 25 Hyderabad blasts were allegedly prepared by experts, who were assisting the terror outfit Harkat-Ul-Jihadi Islami (HUJI), using same formula, according to top police sources here.
Meanwhile, Additional Director General of Police (Law and Order) A K Khan told newspersons today that ''the terrorists used Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) in the serial blasts in Jaipur.
The material used in the Hyderabad and Jaipur blasts might have some similarities as per the priliminary investigation reports received from the Rajasthan Police.'' ''We will send a team of police and experts to Jaipur to conduct an investigation into the explosive material used to trigger the blasts. After receiving the information, the police will come to a conclusion on the similarity between the blasts,'' Mr Khan added.
To a query, he said the state police would extend all help to the Jaipur police in the investigation.
