MindTree named to 08 global outsourcing 100 list

{image-mind tree_14052008.jpg news.oneindia.in}Mumbai, May 14: MindTree Limited, a global IT and R&D Services company, today announced that it has been named to the 2008 Global Outsourcing 100 list by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals (IAOP).

This year, MindTree improved from 68th in 2007 and has been ranked 54th, while also being named one of the 20 best companies by services offered in the category of product research, development and manufacture. The list is published in May 5 issue of Fortune magazine. Winners were chosen through an evaluation process that considers four key criteria -- size and growth in revenue, employees, development centers and countries served customer experience -- as demonstrated through the value created at the Company's top customers.

According to MindTree CEO Krishnakumar Natarajan, MindTree is pleased to be named, along with a group of esteemed companies, to the Global Outsourcing 100 list again this year. ''We see our rise in the rankings this year as reinforcement that our core services and company philosophy are continuing to gain customer traction. We look forward to the year ahead and an improved ranking on the Global 100 next year as well,'' he said.

MindTree is co-headquartered in U S and India. MindTree was named among the Top 30 offshore service providers by the International Association of Outsourcing Professionals and Fortune magazine.
