Tata Sky bags 2 mn subscribers

Mumbai, May 13: Tata Sky has achieved the milestone of two million subscribers within a period of 20 months.

Tata Sky Managing Director and CEO Vikram Kaushik, commenting on the achievement, said, ''This vindicates our commitment to transform the way people watch television in India. The robust end-to-end digital solutions from NDS, as well as the high level of customer service and support they have provided, coupled with continuous product innovation, have enabled us to provide differentiated applications and a superior viewing experience for our subscribers."

With the help of NDS, Tata Sky has become the service provider of choice in the Indian Pay TV market, he added.
