Silver rises; Gold eases in closing session
{image-goldbars60 60_13052008.jpg news.oneindia.in}Mumbai, May 13: A mixed trend was seen today in precious metals as Silver advanced by a whopping Rs 375 per kg on brisk buying support while Gold was slightly down by Rs 40 per ten gm on lack of demand by ornament makers, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association said.
Following were the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 23,790 (23,415) Gold (per 10 gm): Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 11,955 (11,995) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 12,015 (12,055).
