Lucknow, May 13 (UNI) Main opposition Samajwadi Party (SP) today observed ''Black Day'' against one year ''tyranny'' of Uttar Pradesh chief minister Mayawati.
As Ms Mayawati celebrates first anniversary of its fourth regime in UP, the SP workers held demonstrations across the state to protest 'anti-people' and 'administrative terrorism' spread under the former's rule in the last one year.
The workers of main opposition tied black strips on their hands and observed the day as ''Black Day.'' The SP workers also held meetings, where the party spokesperson alleged that Ms Mayawati works with a feeling of vengeance. ''Some senior corrupt officials are hand-in-glove with the CM, and both are busy cheating comman-man,'' they charged.
''Development works have been dumped in the state, as only Ambedkar parks are being constructed and rennovated by Ms Mayawati,'' the SP workers added.
