High alert sounded in capital following Jaipur serial blasts
New Delhi, May 13 (UNI) A high alert was sounded in the national capital following serial blasts in Jaipur this evening.
Barricading and checking of vehicles was being done all over the capital for suspicious elements in the city, said a police official.
Special checking posts have been set up at check points bordering the neighnouring states of Delhi. In addition, patrolling of police and paramilitry forces around the city began and additional forces were rushed to sensitive areas of the city.
Besides, security forces began intensive search operations at railway stations, bus terminals and busy market places. Special attention was being trained on metro stations.
Special pickets were posted in crowded places and markets.
Along with this, strictest vigil was mounted at cyber cafes and telephone booths all over the city.
