Bakshi appointed Match Commissioner

Chandigarh, MAY 13 (UNI) An official of AG (Audit) Haryana, Rakesh Bakshi has been appointed as the Match Commissioner by the All India Football Federation (AIFF) for the 62nd National Football Championship for the Santosh Trophy to be held in Jammu and Kashmir from May 25 to June 15.

According to the statement by AIFF general secretary Alberto Colaco, Bakshi has been posted at Srinagar and has been asked to report on May 22.

Bakshi had earlier officiated as Match Commissioner of the National Football League matches on a number of occasions. He also accompanied the Indian senior team to South Asian Federation Games in Islamabad and Teharan with the Indian sub-junior team.

He is also a member of the Disciplinary Committee of the AIFF.
