Shimla, May 13 (UNI) Himachal Pradesh Chief Secretary Ravi Dhingra, today informed that 13th Finance Commission headed by Dr Vijay Kelkar, Chairman of the Commission would visit Himachal Pradesh from June, 6 to 9 to hold consultations with the State Government regarding various issues related to the devolution of finances during 2010 to 2015 from Central Government to the State.
He was addressing senior officers of the State Government in a meeting held here today to take stock of the preparations being made for the proposed visit of the Commission.
Chief Secretary said that the Commission would hold meeting with Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal on June, 6 and would also meet the political parties, representatives of PRIs and Urban Local Bodies. He said that the team would also visit sites of major developmental projects, hydro electric projects and tribal areas of the state.
