Rupee opens on flat note
Mumbai, May 12: Rupee resumed the session on flat note at 41.60/61 against US Dollar despite negative sentiments in Indian equity market.
The partially convertible Indian Rupee was little moved in early trade as banks squared positions ahead of monthly industrial data, which may provide clues on growth prospects in economy, dealers said.
The local currency had lost 2.3 per cent last week and has fell 5.3 per cent in 2008, making it Asia's worst-performing currency against the Dollar behind the Korean won, dealers added.
