Puducherry, May 12: The political situation in the Union Territory of Puducherry is hotting up with ministers rushing to New Delhi to pressurise the Congress High Command for the ouster of Chief Minister N Rangasamy from the post.

All the five ministers were camping in New Delhi seeking appointment with the party high command representatives to press for their demand.

Raising a banner of revolt against the Chief Minister, ministers had alleged that Mr Rangasamy was not allowing them to function freely and all schemes were being diverted to the Chief Minister's Thattanchavady constituency.

AICC observer Arun Kumar held talks with the Ministers and the Chief Minister and asked them to peacefully conduct the budget session of the Territorial Assembly and come back to New Delhi to take a decision on the issue. Accordingly, the ministers rushed to New Delhi, party sources said here today.
