Lara Bingle pays tribute to her father after his death

Sydney, May 12 : Australian model and would be Mrs Michael Clarke, Lara Bingle, has paid tribute to her father, Graham, who died in hospital on Saturday night.

"My family and I would like to say how appreciative we are of the support we have been shown during this difficult time," The Sydney Morning Herald quoted her agent, as saying.

"My dad was loved by so many people. The way he made people laugh, his kindness and thoughtfulness will always live in our hearts," she said.

Graham Bingle had been suffering from liver and pancreatic cancer. He was 55. He died at the Calvary Hospital in Kogarah.

The funeral is expected to take place later this week.
