JD(S)-BJP''failed'' to implement projects sanctioned by UPA: Rahul
Kundapura, May 12 (UNI) AICC General Secretary Rahul Gandhi today alleged that the JD(S) and the BJP, which ruled Karnataka for 20 months, had failed to make use of various projects sanctioned by the UPA government at the Centre.
Speaking at an election rally in this coastal town, he said the two parties did hardly anything but had been fighting for power and pushed the state to the brink.
''When I visited Karnataka for the first time during Mr S M Krishna's regime, the state was so forward looking and was at the forefront in development. But see what has happened during 20 months. This will be corrected if the Congress is voted back to power,''he claimed.
Mr Gandhi also claimed only the Congress could provide stability and help to the state for regaining its past glory.
