JD(S)-BJP failed to implement projects sanctioned by UPA: Rahul
Kundapura, Karnataka, May 12 (UNI) Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi today accused that the JD(S) and the BJP, which ruled Karnataka for 20 months, had failed to make use of various projects sanctioned by the UPA government in the centre.
Speaking at an election rally in this coastal town, he said the two parties did hardly anything but fight for power and pushed the state on backtrack.
"When I visited Karnataka for the first time during Mr S M Krishna's rule, this state was so forward looking and was in the forefront in development. But see what happened during the 20 months. This will be corrected if Congress is voted back to power," he promised.
Mr Gandhi said only Congress could provide stability and help the state regain its past glory.
