Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, May 12 (UNI) Bharatiya Jan Shakti (BJS) President Uma Bharti today said her party would field candidates in Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan Assembly elections.
Talking to reporters here, Ms Bharti claimed that her party was in strong position in all three states. She said she had no discussion with any party for forming an alliance.
On Naxalism in Chhattisgarh, she said Naxalism is a serious threat to this state. She stressed the need for employment and development in affected areas.
The fiery sanyasin reiterated that a separate provision for dalit, tribal and backward class women should be made in the Women's Reservation Bill. She would prepare an outline in this regard after holding discussions with various parties.
Replying to a question, Ms Bharti said Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi must invite tribals and Dalits at his home for food.
