Hyderabad, May 12 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy today claimed that the state had achieved development in all sectors during his government's tenure.
''Ours is a practical government, it is wrong on the part of the Opposition to obstruct developmental projects on the pretext of making baseless corrution charges against the government,'' he said in a statement here.
The government had taken up several welfare schemes and developmental projects during the last four years, he added.
Construction of houses to the poor, distribution of pension to widows, oldage and physically handicappped, irrigation projects, free power supply to the farm sector and Aarogya Sree Health Insurance Scheme for the poor people were some of the major schemes taken up by the govenrment, he added.
