US firm extends hands for developing roads before CWG 2010
New Delhi, May 11 (UNI) US-based Penn Woods Corporation, a multinational firm, has shown keen interest in developing the city roads with its innovative technology before the commencement of the Commonwealth Games (CWG) here in 2010.
''We are looking forward to the use of our technology on the roads of Delhi before the commencement of the Commonwealth Games in 2010,'' company Managing Director Ashok Sudhakar said here.
Mr Sudhakar, an IIT Delhi alumni, said good and effective transportation and communication are the prime requisites of the necessary infrastructure for the desired economic growth and for that good, sufficient and sustainable road network is of utmost essence.
''I have got immense feelings for my native country and am desirous to make every possible contributions,'' the NRI said.
The company plans to launch the technology under the brand ''Z-products'' in the country which have been used in the United States for the last 12 years, Mr Sudhakar said.
He said the company has got invitations from the Rajasthan government to make a presentation how the technology can contribute into the effective means of transporation.
The various products being introduced are Z-cource, Z-base and Z-fill which would help bring revolution as far as cost effectiveness, sustainability are concerned.
