Rs 39.31 lakh annual plan approved for Pulwama in south Kashmir
Srinagar, May 11 (UNI) The Jammu and Kashmir government has approved a Rs 3931.55 lakh annual plan for 2008-09 for Pulwama district in south Kashmir.
This would be Rs 526.30 lakh as revenue and Rs 3402.25 lakh as capital component, the District Development Board meeting held under the chairmanship of Minister for Finance Tariq Hameed Karra approved, an official spokesman said.
He said Rs 407.83 lakh have been kept for agriculture and allied services, Rs 178.62 lakh for rural development, Rs 15.47 lakh for industries, Rs 25 lakh for energy, Rs 460 lakh for communication and Rs 2844.63 lakh for social and general services.
Under the annual plan 2007-08, against the availability of Rs 3700.83 lakh, the expenditure to the tune of Rs 3380.87 lakh was recorded.
