Kolkata-based journalist dies
Kolkata, May 11: City-based senior journalist Ambarish Dutta died at his residence this morning following prolonged illness.
He was 44.
Dutta, who had been suffering from cancer, was in a senior position as a correspondent of the Tribune in Patna.
His condition deteriorated over the past few days, while under treatment at a city hospital. He was taken back to his residence yesterday.
Before joining the Tribune, Dutta had worked for different organisations, including the Enadu, ETV Bengali and UNI.
He is survived by wife and a son.
