Jammu, May 11 (UNI) Several political parties, including the BJP and J&K National Panthers Party (JKNPP), today strongly condemned the militants attack at Kaili Mandi bordering Samba district and called for a complete bandh tomorrow in protest against escalating violence in the region.
''We appeal to the people to observe complete bandh tomorrow in protest against the killing of civilians by the Pakistan-sponsored militants,'' state BJP president Ashok Khajuria said.
JKNPP chairman Bhim Singh, in his appeal to the transporters, business community and employees, also urged the Governor Sriniwas Kumar Sinha to intervene and dismiss the ''anti-national, anti-human'' coalition government led by Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad.
At least four people, including a photographer and an army jawan, were killed and as many wounded in the encounter at Kaili Mandi early today.
