9 killed, 2 injured in road accident

Nashik, May 11: Nine people were killed and two injured in a collision between a Maruti Omni car and a tanker near Chitegaon Phata on Nashik-Aurangabad road here today.

Police said the car was on its way to Aurangabad when it collided head on with the oncoming tanker. All the deceased were travelling by the car and were residents of Khultabad in Aurangabad, The injured were admitted to the civil hospital here and their condition was stated to be serious.
