Tibetans in Nepal denounce China
Kathmandu, May 9th 2008 : Tibetans came out on the streets of Kathmandu on Thursday to denounce the Olympic torch"s relay to the Mount Everest. It is believed that lots of Tibetans, many from neighbouring Delhi, were beaten during the protests. The protesters were forcibly arrested by the police.
The Kathmandu based Tibetans have been protesting in solidarity with the protest in Lhasa, sometimes seeking for international pressure on China and all the time demanding for Free Tibet.
