Tribunal grants compensation to deceased Judge in Bikaner
Bikaner, May 10 (UNI) Bikaner Motor Vehicle Claims Tribunal has granted a compensation of Rs 61.2 lakh to the family of the then Additional District and Session Judge Nohar Akshay C Kiradu, who had died in a road accident two years ago.
Mr Kiradu and his driver Kishan Lal were killed and two others injured, when their car collided with a truck near Laxmangarh in Sikar district on June 2, 2006.
Settling the claim yesterday Tribunal Judge Virendra Kumar Mathur granted a compensation of Rs 61,20,660 to the family of the deceased Judge.
The Tribunal Judge also ordered the payment of a compensation of Rs 5,11,800 to the next of kin of Mr Kiradu's deceased driver.
Besides this, a compensation of Rs 3.53 lakh and Rs 33,000 was also granted to lawyer Virendra Singh and Radha Krishna Kiradu, respectively, who were injured in the accident.
