Madge refuses to tour Down Under
Melbourne, May 10 : Queen of Pop Madonna has refused to take her Sticky and Sweet tour to Australia once again.
Despite the Aussies loyalty and their help in making her new album Hard Candy and single 4Minutes reach No.1 on the ARIA charts this week, the singer's representatives have confirmed that she will not be taking her tour there.
"The tour has been taken off the table," News.com.au quoted a source as saying on May 09.
A number of major Australian promoters are believed to be trying to get Madge to perform in Australia again, with her one-and-only tour having taken place in 1993.
Rumours are going around that her agents were offered millions of dollars for the Material Girl to play two stadium concerts in Sydney and Melbourne.
The Sticky and Sweet tour starts in Wales on August 23.
