Kapur jumps to tied 13th in Italian Open

Milan, Italy, May 10 (UNI) Ace Indian pro Shiv Kapur jumped to tied 13th as he returned with a fabulous bogey-free 65 on the second day of the Methorios Capital Italian Open (European Tour) here today.

Overnight tied 53rd, Kapur (70, 65) started the day in great fashion with a hat-trick of birdies on the 10th, 11th and 12th.

He then sank back-to-back birdies on the 15th and 16th. On the front nine he knocked down two more birdies on the first and fifth holes.

Robert Karlsson of Sweden was heading the leaderboard on the second day as he shot a blistering round of eleven under 61 with an overall score of 15 under 129. Kapur trails the current leader by six strokes.
