I will like to work in Hindi films: Khali

Mumbai, May 10 (UNI) The Great Khali, Indian wrestler who has earned a name for himself in the World Wrestling Entertainment arena, today said he would love to act in Hindi films and do romantic roles.

''I would love to act in Hindi films and do romantic roles opposite any of the leading actresses here,'' said the 7 feet 3 inch tall wrestler, who weighs 420 pounds, while speaking to the media here today.

Khali, who is in the city for various programmes, said he liked Hindi films which had an interesting story line with songs and dance sequences.

Dalip singh rana alias Khali, who was born on August 27, 1972 in a humble family in Himachal Pradesh, and was a good sportsman in his early days which made him a popular figure in his home town.

Khali, who derives his name from Godess of power 'Kaali', has a very heavy diet consisting of one gallon of milk, five chickens and two dozen eggs along with chapatis, juice and fruits.

Reacting to the challenge posed by Indian wrestler Dara Singh, in a section of the media, where he said Khali should prove his mettle by fighting Indian wrestlers, Khali accepted the open challenge, saying he was ready to fight Indian wrestlers.

To a query about the reality of the fight, Khali said the wrestling fights were indeed real and that it was not fake.

Khali is a Rajput Hindu and is married to a Punjabi woman, Harminder Kaur.
