Thiruvananthapuram, May 9 (UNI) The third edition of ''TechTop-2008,''an all India engineering students project competition, jointly organised by the Technopark and the Indian arm of the US-based Degree Controls Inc, will be held here from August 18 to 19.
The programme is supported by IEEE and Executive Knowledge Lines for the prestigious 'Degree C' award, which offers the largest prize money in this class, a Technopark release said here today.
The competition is actively supported and promoted by the Technopark for spreading the spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship, it said.
The price money of Rs one lakh has been announced for the most innovative, socially relevant and commercially exploitable projects for 2008.
The theme for this year's contest is 'Rural technology and Global Warming,' the release added.
