Hyderabad, May 9 (UNI) Redefining the style in home phone category, Tata Indicom today launched 'Walky Talky', an all-new combination of stylish walky-talky instruments.
Unveiling the instruments at a press conference here, Tata Teleservices Chief Operating Officer, S Ramakrishna said the stylish cordless new walky-talky would be available with enhanced features such as speaker phone, caller id, large phone book (upto 500 entries) and polyphonic ring tones.
''For availing a walky-talky, a customer needs to pay Rs 1,299 with activation kit available in prepaid and postpaid at Rs 200 and 100, respectively,'' Mr Ramakrishna said, adding that there was also an exchange offer for the Tata Indicom customers to get the new service at nominal prices.
Stating that the company had invested Rs 3,000 crore to set up the network since 1999 in the state, he said the Teleservices would invest Rs 140 crore during this year in the area of network development and administration.
