Hyderabad, May 9: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy will kickstart the Congress' campaign for the May 29 by-election to 18 Assembly and four Lok Sabha seats in the third week of May.
Briefing the press after a cabinet Meeting here today, Information and Public Relations Minister A Ramanarayana Reddy said the Chief Minister would participate in the campaigns in all the constituencies. The campaign would begin on May 15 or after, he added.
Stating that the Chief Minister had directed all the ministers to strive hard to win majority of the seats, Mr Reddy said the campaign would be intensifed during the Chief Minister's visit to the constituencies.
Pointing out that the Y S Rajasekhara Reddy's government would ''successfully'' complete four years in office on May 14, the minister said the Congress in the state would organise 're-dedication day' on the same day, which would be attended by party's state leaders, MLAs, MPs, ministers and leaders from Delhi.
Dr Reddy had also directed the ministers to invite all leaders from the village level, he added.
