AP: 10 held for betting on IPL cricket matches
Vijayawada, May 9: The Anti-Goonda Squad (AGS) Police arrested ten people on the charges of betting on the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) cricket matches held at New Delhi and Kolkata last evening.
Police today said, following a tip-off, the AGS raided a shop at Govindarajulu Fish Market and made the arrests.
They seized Rs 69,756 cash, nine mobile phones and a TV from them. A case has been registered.
