Nanavati summons Bhajji, Sreesanth

Ahmedabad, May 8 (UNI) Tomorrow is a red letter day for Harbhajan Singh as the temparamental Mumbai Indians off-spinner has been summoned by BCCI-appointed Commissioner Sudhir Nanavati along with Kings XI Punjab pacer S Sreesanth.

The Ahmedabad lawyer is probing the slapping row involving Harbhajan and S Sreesanth. He will complete his investigations after talking to both the players here.

Nanavati has already recorded the statments of match refree Farookh Engineer and Amish Saheba, who was one of the umpire in the match.

He will submit his final inquiry report to the Board President Sharad Pawar on Monday.

The report will then be referred to the committee to decide about the action to be taken against the players.

Nanavati was appointed under the Rule 32 of the BCCI under which the Board President has the power to name a commissioner to assist the disciplinary committee.
