Mumbai, May 8 (UNI) A local court today adjourned till July 10, the hearing on a petition filed against Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat for allegedly putting up an ''obscene'' dance performance on December 31, 2006 in a five-star hotel here.

The complainant, Vinod Jain, today sought time on health grounds as he has undergone bypass surgery recently. Metropolitan magistrate G R Wankhande granted the request and adjourned the matter till July 10.

Mr Jain stated in his complaint that the actress was indecently clad during the show and her dance performance was also very offensive to Indian culture.
