Kidwai to lay foundation of Mewat Engineering College
Chandigarh May 8 (UNI) Haryana Governor A R Kidwai will lay the foundation stone of Mewat Engineering College at village Palla in Tehsil Nuh in Mewat district on May 9.
Stating this here today, an official spokesperson said the Mewat engineering college was being established by the Wakf Board in its 13 acre land in village Palla.
The board had also acquired 4 acre private land in this use.
The engineering college would aim at providing quality education through strong academic and industrial linkages in Mewat area.
He said that in the first session, the building of the proposed college would have an institutional block and workshop with an estimated cost of Rs 3.52 crore.
He said Haryana Wakf Board chairman Hamid Hussain would preside over the function. The function would be attended by heads of madrassas, industrialists, eminent citizens among others.
