AIADMK candidates comes out with affidavit to woo the voters
Bangalore, May 8 (UNI) All India Anna DMK candidate Va Pugahendi contesting in the May 10 election from Shanthi Nagar Assembly constitutency in the City has come out with a sworn in affidavit to woo the voters.
In the affidavit, copy of which was released to the press here today, he has stated that he is contesting in the election as per direction from AIADMK party supremo J Jayalalithaa and with motive of rendering services in a more sensible way suiting the present era and scenario rather than making any false promises, normally other constants promise for getting favourable mandate.
"I hereby assure, pledge and promise to the people of Shanthinagar constitutency that if he was elected he pledge to embark on and ro resolve major burning issues during his tenure on priority basis." The issues he has covered in the affidavit, among other things, includes, providing drinking water to each and every home, digging of bore wells to end water crisis, construction of Samudhaya Bhavans, health, First Aid Centres, Maternity Homes. immediate issue of Possession certificates to all slum dwellers, provide 24 hours power supply by installing generators, immediate distribution of free Yellow ration cards for the poor, weaker sections below poverty line.

declared
that
"in
the
event,
if
I
fail
to
render
the
services
assured
above
after
getting
elected
as
MLA,
Shanthinagar,
I
shall
be
answerable
to
the
general
public
attached
to
constitutency
during
all
times."
