27 candidates file nomination for AP bypoll

Hyderabad, May 8 (UNI) Twenty-seven candidates filed their nominations today for the bypolls in 18 Assembly and four Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh to be held on May 29.

According to an official release here, eight candidates have filed their nominations for four Lok Sabha seats and 19 candidates for 18 Assembly constituencies.

Opposition TDP candidate S Venugopala Chary, Congerss candidate A Indra Karan Reddy and TRS nominee Takkala Madhusudha Reddy filed their nominations for the Adilabad Lok Sabha seat.

TRS President K Chandrasekhara Rao, Independent candidate Kadem Prabhakar filed their nominations for Karimnagar Lok Sabha seat, while Congress candidate Surekha Konda and Independent candidate Muralidhar Rao Konda filed their nominations from Hanmakonda.

Congress candidate P Rameshwar Reddy filed his papers for Warangal Lok Sabha seat.

Mallu Ravi(Congress), M Chandra Sekhar(TDP) and Charlakola Laxma Reddy (TRS) from Jadcherala Assembly constituency, J Yadaiah (Ind) B Sanjeeva Rao (TDP) and A Chandra Shekar (TRS) from Vikarabad(SC), T Padma Rao (Telangana Praja Samithi-TPS) from Secunderbad, K Srinivas Rao (Lok Satta) from Khairatabad and Tanneru Harish Rao (TRS) from Siddipet, A Vittal Reddy (Congress) from Ramayampet, Surender(TDP) from Yellareddy and A Lalitha(Congress) from Dichpali have filed their nominations.

Three candidates V Ponnala (Cong), Mohammed Musheeruddin(Ind) and Pratap Reddy K (TRS) filed their papers for the Cheriyal assembly seat while Dr Gunde Vijaya Rama Rao (TRS) filed his nominations from Ghanapur(SC) constituency.

M Venkataswamy(CPI) and Capt Laxmikantha Rao Vodithela (TRS) from Huzurabad and P Ravinder Reddy (Cong) from Kamalapur filed their papers.
