Temperatures rise marginally in HP
Shimla, May 7 (UNI) The maximum temperatures across Himachal Pradesh rose by a few degrees today, following clear day and sunshine.
The maximum temperature in Shimla stood at 25.3 degrees Celsius, marginally rising by one and half degrees Celsius only.
Yesterday, the town had recorded a day temperature of 24.1 degrees.
Heat wave conditions continued to prevail in the lower parts of the State and the maximum temperature in Una town also increased by a degree, stating at 39.2 degrees.
Sundernagar recorded a day temperature of 35.8 degrees Celsius, while the maximum temperature at Kalpa in Kinnuar also marginally increased by one degree to 18.9 degrees.
The maximum temperature at Bhuntar rose at marginal level of one degree and stand at 33.0 degrees, temperature at Dharamshala was 31.2 degrees Celsius, increasing by one degree.
However, the minimum temperature at Shimla town also rose by three degrees and stood at 15 degrees.
Sundernagar also recorded a rise in night temperature, which climbed to 16.3, Bhuntar 12.6 and Dharamshala 17.2 degrees. The minimum temperature at Kalpa stood at 4.0 degrees Celsius.
