Rihanna and Chris Brown 'very close now'

Washington, May 07 : Barbadian singer Rihanna, who has been very coy about her relationship with Chris Brown, recently revealed that she is "very close" to him.

In a recent interview with Elle magazine, the 20-year-old admitted that her "friendship" with 19-year-old R and B stunner Chris Brown has changed.

"We've always been friends," People quoted her, as telling the mag.

"But we're very close now," she added.

Though the 'Umbrella' singer, who is currently on tour with Kanye West, has refused to comment any further on her relationship with Brown, she has dismissed rumours regarding the other man in her life, mentor and boss Jay-Z.

"I get asked about it all the time and I'm like, 'You're asking, but you know the answer,'" she says of the rap mogul, who married singer Beyonce in April.
